Kyrgyzstan

The charm of the East and mountain landscapes

Kyrgyzstan is called the "Switzerland of Central Asia" for its beautiful mountains and blooming alpine meadows. Here you can drive along breathtaking serpentine roads, relax by the legendary Lake Issyk-Kul, explore awe-inspiring gorges, stroll through an oriental bazaar, and sample the hearty and aromatic local cuisine. The hospitality of the locals will make your trip incredibly warm and inviting.

Tourists interested in history and architecture will also find Kyrgyzstan a fascinating destination. Cholpon-Ata boasts petroglyphs dating back over four thousand years, and from the top platform of the perfectly preserved Burana Tower (9th-11th centuries), you can admire the magnificent panorama of the Chui Valley, marveling at how harmoniously human-made structures blend with the picturesque landscape.

Places of attraction

Bishkek,
the capital, lies at the foot of the Tien Shan Mountains, offering stunning views of snow-capped peaks. The city itself boasts numerous fascinating historical and cultural monuments: a unique blend of Soviet architecture, religious buildings—such as beautiful mosques—and oriental flair.

Osh
is known as the country's southern capital. Small Osh is surrounded by picturesque mountain slopes, and its most interesting landmark is Mount Suleiman. It is considered sacred, and one of its caves houses a unique museum where you can learn more about the country's history and ethnography.

Issyk-Kul:
Crystal-clear water, warm sandy beaches, healing air, and ancient legends—that's Issyk-Kul. You can come here simply for a quiet stroll along the shore and a swim, or indulge in wellness treatments, as the waters of this majestic lake are rich in precious minerals.

Karakol
is a city on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul. Many trekking routes start from here, as the city is located in the eponymous gorge, which boasts fascinating natural beauty, flora, and fauna. Karakol is also worth visiting for its monuments to world religions: the Holy Trinity Cathedral and the unusual pagoda-shaped Dungan Mosque.

The Ala-Archa Gorge is
the valley of the Ala-Archa mountain river, with its bizarre landscape, turbulent waterfalls, and sheer cliffs. Climbers and tourists alike come here to conquer the surrounding peaks and fall in love with Kyrgyzstan's diverse natural landscape. The gorge is a national park.
