Chechnya

Skyscrapers and medieval castles, mountains and lakes

Chechnya is a region of contrasts. Most tours begin in Grozny, and the region's capital is striking in its modernity: illuminated skyscrapers, wide avenues, and bustling shopping malls. But once you leave the city, you'll see a completely different face of Chechnya. Hidden among the most beautiful mountains and gorges are quiet villages where time seems to stand still, medieval castles tower, and legends and myths are passed down by word of mouth.

Chechnya will captivate anyone interested in the culture and history of the peoples inhabiting the south of our country, anyone who appreciates the eclectic mix of eras in architecture, or anyone who is interested in the history of Islam. And, of course, anyone who loves mountains! Here you can fully enjoy the picturesque ridges, visit one of the most beautiful high-mountain lakes in our country, Kezenoyam, and admire how ancient signal towers seem to become part of the rugged and majestic landscape.

Places of attraction

Grozny,
the capital of a region where eras intertwine! Climb to the top of a skyscraper to admire the city from above. Visit the monumental and renowned "Heart of Chechnya" mosque. Stroll along the Walk of Fame, experiencing the region's recent history. And, of course, visit "Shashlik Street" for a delicious Caucasian dinner!

Lake Kezenoyam
is a high-altitude lake with a magical landscape. The piercing blue water, the gentle slopes of the hills descending to it, and the abundance of greenery create a unique atmosphere of tranquility. The route to the lake, by the way, is also worth mentioning: during the dizzying serpentine drive, you'll be able to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding area.

Argun
is a small, green, and cozy town, perfect for a leisurely stroll. But its main attraction is the Aimani Kadyrova Mosque, a unique high-tech mosque. Its interior design is stunning, and at night, its fantastic illuminations make for a fascinating viewing experience.

The "Pride of Muslims" Mosque,
the largest mosque in Europe, is located in the Chechen city of Shali. This majestic building amazes with its luxury and elegance, causing every visitor to gasp in awe. Pure white marble, vibrant stained glass windows, and chandeliers adorned with gold and precious crystals.

The Argun Gorge is
one of the largest gorges in the Caucasus, stretching for almost 150 meters. This area attracts visitors not only with its natural beauty but also with its abundance of architectural, cultural, and historical monuments. Ancient watchtowers, crypt dwellings from the 20th-15th centuries, and the "winged" fortress of Guchan-Kale.
