Putorana is the most inaccessible location in our country. This amazing plateau, accessible only by water or air, has no communications and is almost deserted, but it boasts the stunning, untouched nature of the Russian Arctic. Majestic waterfalls, table mountains, protected lakes, mysterious canyons—we invite you to experience the wonders of the plateau with your own eyes, without sacrificing comfortable accommodations.
On this tour, you can fulfill your dream of reaching a place few travelers ever get to. The natural landscape and pristine nature hide true gems in the wilderness: turbulent waterfalls, peakless mountains, a huge diversity of flora and fauna, many of which are endemic—found nowhere else but the Putorana Plateau! You'll climb Festivalnaya Mountain, hike along the Kamenny Isthmus, see Lake Lama from above, visit a canyon where a 22-meter waterfall thunders down, and unravel the mysteries of an unusual wooden palace hidden in the forest wilderness.
The program consists almost entirely of trekking excursions, but don't worry if you're unsure of your physical fitness. At the very beginning of the tour, we'll divide travelers into two groups. The "Sport" group will face more challenging ascents through the wild landscape, one of which will include an elevation gain of 1,100 meters! The "Relax" group will explore the plateau along easier routes and at a comfortable pace, making more stops for atmospheric photo ops and peaceful contemplation of the natural beauty. At the end of the day, we'll all return to a haven of civilization on the shores of the lake—the luxurious Neralakh Park Hotel, where you'll enjoy chef-prepared meals, the crackling of logs in a warm fireplace, the most comfortable beds, and tranquil views from panoramic windows. We're confident this trip will become one of your most extraordinary and vivid memories!
Premium accommodations surrounded by wilderness, hundreds of kilometers from civilization. Maximum comfort: a toilet and shower in each cottage, beds with orthopedic mattresses, and all toiletries. And, of course, luxurious panoramic windows provide a wonderful sense of oneness with nature. The hotel restaurant offers three meals a day, local specialties, and European/Northern cuisine prepared by the chef.
The hotel is located in a beautiful historic building, a magnificent example of Stalinist architecture. The building has undergone a complete renovation, and all rooms are equipped with modern technology, with free Wi-Fi available throughout the premises. Guests especially appreciate the Polar Star restaurant, which serves delicious and varied breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. The friendly and helpful staff will do everything possible to ensure your stay in the city is a pleasant one.

The group will meet in the morning at Norilsk airport, followed by a short sightseeing tour of Norilsk. You'll learn about life in a city built on permafrost, above the Arctic Circle. Afterward, we'll head to the port and board a boat. The transfer to the plateau takes approximately three and a half hours. Upon arrival, we'll check into the Neralakh Park Hotel and have some free time to relax. On the first day on the plateau, we'll take a test trek to the observation deck to admire the famous Lake Lama and the unusual mesas. Based on the results of this trek, all travelers will be divided into two groups: "Sport" for those who aren't afraid of challenges and are physically fit enough for long climbs, and "Relax" for those who prefer to explore the plateau at a leisurely pace.

We invite you on a trek to the best viewpoint on the Putorana Plateau! After a delicious breakfast at the park hotel, we'll take boats to the isthmus of the Kamenny Peninsula. The "relax" group will hike to a viewpoint past two picturesque waterfalls, while the "sport" group will climb to the very top, to the peak of Festivalnaya Mountain. Both groups will enjoy stunning views of Lakes Lama and Kapchuk and enjoy lunch from lunchboxes in the fresh air, enjoying the panorama. The "relax" group will have free time to stroll along the isthmus, which boasts an incredible diversity of mosses. Some mosses are found only here on the plateau! Upon returning to the hotel, there will be free time and a delicious dinner.

The most intense and active day of the tour: today you'll experience the incredible Arctic nature of Putorana in all its glory! You'll feel like true explorers and conquerors of wild lands on a long, ascending trek. This pristine landscape offers no beaten paths, but breathtaking views that very few people have the chance to see. The "Relax" group will pass beautiful waterfalls and descend into a canyon where a turbulent 22-meter waterfall plunges. The "Sport" group will undertake a full-scale ascent, gaining 1,100 meters in elevation, and be rewarded with incredible panoramas of Lake Lama and the flat peaks of the mesas stretching to the horizon. A picnic and photo session are also included.

Today we'll bid farewell to the plateau, but before we do, we'll visit another fascinating location: the House on Lake Lama. This amazing airplane-shaped wooden building was erected in the wilderness by a renowned architect. You'll learn why it was built in this wild place, how Latvian generals ended up in the Russian Arctic, and why the nearby river was named Vitaminka. You'll also take some unusual photos against the backdrop of this atmospheric architectural masterpiece amidst the wild taiga. After lunch at the park hotel, we'll depart for Norilsk by boat. After checking into the hotel, you'll have free time to explore the city and dine at one of Norilsk's restaurants (not included in the tour price).

Today we'll travel to Dudinka, the capital of Taimyr and a vital city for the local indigenous peoples. Dudinka's history is closely linked to the discoveries and expeditions that conquered the Arctic and Siberia. Today, it's a small but incredibly fascinating town where you can see Zhenya the mammoth, stroll down a houseless street, learn about shamanism, and visit an atmospheric seaport. After lunch, we'll visit some local reindeer herders to learn more about their way of life, traditions, and interesting anecdotes.
After an early breakfast, transfer to the airport. See you soon!
We only admit children over 12 years of age to the program.
