What's included in the program?

Winter Kamchatka is a completely separate world, a kingdom of snow-capped peaks, ice and foggy haze over the ocean waters.

You will see Avachinsky, Koryaksky, Vilyuchinsky volcanoes, Avachinsky Pass and the Vachkazhets mountain range, the Pacific Ocean and Mayachny Cape, as well as the capital of the region - the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, surrounded by incredible landscapes. On this trip, you will not only contemplate the natural beauty, but also enjoy the adrenaline, because we will get to the locations on snowmobiles, and one day we will go on a helicopter excursion to see the mountain peaks from a bird's eye view! The program also includes a free day that can be devoted to snowboarding or alpine skiing (please note: lifts and equipment rental are not included in the tour price). Or, if you want to relax after active days of sightseeing, you can head to the thermal springs. You will also get acquainted with the culture and traditions of the indigenous peoples of Kamchatka, hear mesmerizing throat singing and see rhythmic dances in the ethno-village.
Friendly sled dogs are also waiting for you here: ride in the passenger seat or try your hand at being a musher!

Tour route

More details about the route

Day 1. First meeting with Kamchatka

We will meet you at the airport and arrange transfer to the guest house. Dedicate this day to acclimatization and adaptation to the change in time zones: after a delicious lunch, you will have free time, which you can devote to relaxing in your room or walking around the city.

Day 2. Snowmobile excursion to volcanoes

After breakfast, we ride on a snowmobile with a passenger sled to the picturesque Avachinsky Pass, which is located in the middle between the Avachinsky and Koryaksky volcanoes, one of the most famous and beautiful volcanoes in the region. Both are valid. Optional (depending on time, desire and weather conditions) - lifting to Camel extrusion. It is a rocky massif with two peaks, from which it gets its name. This is a wonderful natural observation deck, from where you can see both volcanoes and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky spread out below. Once down, we'll have a small, delicious picnic and then head back to the city.

Day 3. Pacific Ocean

Today you will see the Pacific coast, Vilyuchinsky volcano and one of the oldest lighthouses in the Far East. We will get to these locations by snowmobile. Our path will be impressive: along the coast and secluded small bays, surrounded by steep cliffs or low slopes. We will stop at the observation deck to capture the majestic Vilyuchinsky volcano and the Three Brothers - pillar-shaped rocks in Avachinskaya Bay, one of the most famous Kamchatka views. Then we will head to the “grandfather of lighthouses” - the Peter and Paul Lighthouse on a beautiful high cape. This lighthouse was built in the early 19th century and looks absolutely stunning with the ocean waves and mountain ranges in the distance as a backdrop. After lunch overlooking the ocean, we return to the hotel.

Day 4. Free day

On this day, you can independently choose what to do - devote it to active entertainment, for example, snowboarding, or relaxing walks. This day is also used as a reserve day if, due to weather conditions, we have to change the tour program (this happens extremely rarely).

Day 5. By helicopter over the mountains

Today you will see from above one of the most beautiful mountain ranges of Kamchatka - Vachkazhets. Stone ridges, endless snow, peaks soaring into the sky, both harsh and graceful nature... Observing these incredible landscapes from a helicopter, you will be able to fully experience the charm of Kamchatka, its originality and uniqueness. After returning to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, free time.

Day 6. Ethnic village and sled dogs

The trip would not be complete without getting to know the culture and life of the indigenous peoples of this region. Therefore, today we will go to an ethno-village, where you will be introduced to local traditions and legends, you will hear deep throat singing and see beautiful national dances. Fluffy, active and friendly sled dogs await you here. You can ride in a dog sled as a passenger or a musher, that is, the manager of the sled. Full of positive emotions and vivid impressions, we return to the guest house in the evening.

After breakfast, we head to the airport. We'll make a couple of stops along the way so you can buy gifts and souvenirs for your loved ones and yourself to remember the trip. One of the stops is at the fish market, because it is simply impossible to imagine Kamchatka without ocean and river delicacies!
