The geographic center of Russia—that is, the point equidistant from all borders—is located on the Putorana Plateau. This point is on the southeastern shore of Lake Vivi, as calculated by the Federal Service of Geodesy and Cartography.



But Putorana is, of course, not interesting for this record, but for its fantastic nature: wild places where unusual mesas rise, where there are no people or communications, but thousands of pristine lakes and waterfalls. Here, every traveler can feel like a pioneer.
