Everyone loves Baikal ice—and that's wonderful. But when the routes get crowded, you crave a different level of experience: less fuss, but with exclusive locations and the feeling that the lake is yours alone.

At GO&DO, we've been creating custom tours across Russia and the world for 13 years—unique, meticulously crafted, and flawlessly executed. the popular winter Baikal . We showcase all the classic features of the legendary lake and add the elements that make a trip exceptional: privacy, precise logistics, rare locations, and details that will be remembered for years to come.

Must-see: what we will definitely see

Transparent ice with a "starry scattering" of bubbles, azure hummocks, ice grottoes—everything that makes people come to Lake Baikal in winter will, of course, be included in any of our individual winter tours.

We'll cruise the west coast on a private hovercraft, dedicating a full day to Aya and Peschanaya Bays: some of the most photogenic spots of the season, with high, soaring cliffs, stilted trees, and pristine ice. Along the way, we'll stop at photogenic grottoes and "windows" in the ice hummocks, where the ice geometry changes with every gust of wind and temperature change.

We'll also definitely visit the ethno-park to complement our delight at Baikal's nature with a cultural immersion, and we'll also sample traditional buuzy (a type of sweet pastry)—where would we be without them?

Well, okay, an experienced traveler will say, such locations are offered on literally every "Baikal Ice" tour. What's so exclusive? It's in the many details and touches, the unique experiences and activities.

What makes us different

We're ready to bring any of your ideas to life—and offer our own. Here's what can make winter Baikal truly unique:

1. Transportation.
We'll be traveling across the ice on the MARS-2000 VIP hovercraft. Yes, hovercraft are commonplace on Lake Baikal in winter. But ours is all about comfort and route flexibility: a warm cabin, power, and maneuverability to escape crowds of tourists and find perfectly clear patches of ice.

2. Dinner on ice in a secret location.
An exquisitely set table, warm blankets, local delicacies, and the twilight lights that make Lake Baikal sound especially pure. A romantic setting in an ice grotto with live music is available upon request: intimate, beautiful, and just for you.

3. Overnight at the Arctic station.
Most people arrive at the Bora-Bora station during the day, but we organize overnight stays right on the ice—in warm, fully-serviced modules. Waking up to a vast white field, with the first light scattering across the icy honeycombs, is an unforgettable experience.

4. Retro cars on ice.
Hovercrafts, Khivus, and ice skates—all familiar to most winter explorers of Lake Baikal. But what about a race on the ice in a retro car? A thrilling experience and great photos are guaranteed.

5. Meeting with a white shaman.
No spectacle for tourists, just you and a working white shaman in a place where centuries-old mystical tradition is tangible and real.

Free day - your pace

Towards the end of the trip, there's a day without a plan: you can stay at the hotel, gaze at the shimmering ice from a warm lounge, and bask in the spa, or you can add some activity. We organize everything: dog sledding, snow motorcycle rides, helicopter reconnaissance of the most beautiful ice fields (depending on your preference and the weather). This "air" in the program isn't a luxury, but a guarantee that the trip will be entirely yours, not "like everyone else's." We advise and organize everything—you choose.

Let's sum it up: why with us?

We don't sell a set of activities—we create a scenario for the experience. We adjust timing and routes to the weather and favorable photo light, we avoid popular spots when groups arrive, and we take care of the little details: from the right spikes and extra mittens to hot tea served on ice from a thermos. And most importantly, we maintain a balance between must-sees and what's usually left behind the scenes: this is how stories are born that you want to share.

If this format appeals to you, contact us. We'll carefully tailor a custom winter tour to Lake Baikal to your rhythm. We'll add romance, excitement, or contemplation—and create a unique recipe for recharging in the heart of Siberia.
