We invite you to see Altai in its most colorful season! The flowering of maral is an unforgettable sight that annually attracts many tourists from all regions of Russia. In this magical atmosphere you will see 7 main attractions of Altai - from the legendary Katun River to the majestic Lake Teletskoye, from the Chuya tract to the stormy Ilgumensky rapids.
The program is designed specifically to get to know the region: you will visit the most iconic locations.
The grandiose Chuysky tract, the fantastically beautiful Katun, mountain passes, stormy rapids, Golden Lake - in one trip you will visit the natural attractions that made the Altai Mountains famous. While visiting the eco-village, you will see up close the graceful deer, one of the symbols of the region. The highlight of the tour is the season in which you will travel around Altai. The end of April and the first half of May is the time of flowering of rosemary (also known as Siberian wild rosemary, one of the varieties of rhododendron). Mountain slopes and the banks of wild rivers are hidden under a carpet of pink and purple buds. During the same period, the “lights” (swimsuits) usually bloom, adding their piercing orange inclusions to the riot of colors. This tour is a road trip: you will travel in comfortable transport, observing changing landscapes, and make stops at viewpoints, places of power, and at the tops of passes. On Lake Teletskoye we will take a short walking excursion to the waterfall, enjoying the fresh spring air and the amazing harmony of nature blooming around us. And every evening you will return to a cozy hotel to relax in a comfortable environment from the day's adventures.

Park hotel among a coniferous forest, on a secluded area between the mountain and Katun. Here you will relax in a calm and quiet environment. The spacious rooms are located in a cedar chalet, they have plenty of light and a pleasant aroma of wood. The hotel has an unusual park of wooden sculptures that will appeal to both adults and children.

We will meet you at the airport of Gorno-Altaisk. First of all, you need to have a delicious breakfast! Therefore, we are going to the eco-village “Kaimskoye”. This is a cozy, secluded corner surrounded by mountains and valleys, where deer are bred - majestic deer with powerful branched antlers, one of the main symbols of Altai. You can also find other animals here, such as horses and yak. You will have breakfast with homemade Russian cuisine and move on: ahead of us is a meeting with the beautiful Katunya, the main Altai river, whose banks at this time are covered with continuous carpets of soft lilac maral grass. We will definitely make stops at observation points so that you can enjoy the view and take beautiful shots. By 15:00 - check-in at the hotel, free time. Relax after your flight, because there are several busy and adventurous days ahead!
The second day prepares for you even more encounters with the Katun, a river that originates at the highest peak of Altai, the snow-capped Belukha, and crosses the entire region, being fed by the waters of other mountain rivers. Along its course there are many natural attractions; near one of them we will stop for a walk and photographs. This is the “Dragon’s Teeth” - a chain of sharp rocks protruding from the surface. The next destination is the popular resort village of Chemal, where we will visit the Chemal hydroelectric power station, located at the confluence of Chemal and Katun, and also walk along the wooden suspension bridge to the island of Patmos, where the Orthodox church is located. We will also touch upon the traditional beliefs of the region by climbing to the Che-Chkysh valley, which is called the valley of mountain spirits. In the evening - return to the hotel.
We set off along the Chuysky tract, which invariably ranks first in the ratings of the most beautiful roads in Russia and even the planet! As you move along it towards the border with Mongolia, you will be able to enjoy a gradually changing landscape: the mountains become higher and higher, growing from low hills to mountain ranges reaching into the sky, on which the snow does not melt even in the summer heat. Along the way, we will admire the flowering of maral and take fantastically beautiful photographs. We will climb two passes - Seminsky and Chike-Taman, and stop at observation platforms to admire the panoramic views. And one of the most vivid impressions of the day will be a visit to the stormy Ilgumensky rapids. By 20-21 o'clock, full of emotions from the grandiose landscapes of the Chuysky tract during the flowering period, we will return to the hotel.
Teletskoye Lake is a real pearl of Altai, “The Younger Brother of Baikal”. Its other name is “Altyn-Kol”, which translates as “Golden Lake”. This is a freshwater body of water more than 78 km long, the banks of which are mostly wild, preserving the diversity of Altai flora and fauna. You will see the lake up close, walking along the shore, and from above, taking a cable car to the top of Mount Kokkuya. Then you will have a short walking tour along the eco-trail. We will reach the cascade of waterfalls of the Third River. The height of the waterfalls is quite small - about 5 meters, but this is an amazingly beautiful place that will fill you with peace. A simple walk through the forest will allow you to fully enjoy the Altai nature. Return to the hotel by 21:00.
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport. See you again!

The cost of insurance is included in the tour price. May is the time of peak tick activity in Altai, so we strongly recommend additional vaccination against tick-borne encephalitis before your trip.
