This is a country of centuries-old landmarks, a country of tranquil and majestic landscapes. Traditions are strong here, the continuity of many generations is palpable, and the music resounds with heart-stirring intensity. At the same time, connoisseurs of contemporary art will find plenty to see in Armenia: unique art objects, galleries, and vibrant exhibitions. Yerevan
The "Pink City" of Yerevan is a place of singing fountains, cozy cafes and museums, street musicians, and leisurely evening strolls. The city was almost completely rebuilt during the Soviet era; few ancient buildings remain, but Yerevan's atmosphere is captivating.
Tsaghkadzor
The largest ski resort in Armenia, with well-developed infrastructure and hotels to suit every taste, the resort's main features are its favorable climate, restaurants with stunning views, and breathtaking natural surroundings.
Lake Sevan
One of the most beautiful lakes in the Caucasus, Lake Sevan, sits at an altitude of over 1,900 meters. The seascapes atop the mountains are truly a natural wonder! Here you can swim, sail, and sample freshly caught trout.
Ararat cognac
Armenia's calling card is the famous Ararat cognac. It is produced from local grapes grown in the Ararat Valley and aged in oak barrels. The Yerevan Brandy Factory, where Ararat is made, has been operating since 1887.
Azat Reservoir
The reservoir on the picturesque Azat River was built in 1976. Situated at an altitude of 1,050 m, it offers a stunning and tranquil view: the calm waters reflect the mountains, sky, and flocks of flying birds.
Temple of Garni
Garni is an open-air museum-reserve. The pagan temple of Garni is part of a vast palace complex, the first mention of which dates back to the 1st century AD. The 5-hectare site also includes the ruins of a palace, fortress, and baths.
Dilijan
Dilijan is the "Armenian Switzerland," a city of spa resorts and traditional crafts, surrounded by a nature reserve, impenetrable forests, and mountain peaks. It boasts healing clean air, a rich history and culture, and hundreds of attractions.
Tatev Gate
The Tatev Gates cableway, at an altitude of 320 meters, holds two world records. It is the longest pendulum-type cableway (5,752 meters) and the longest three-wire cableway without stops. All profits from the Tatev Gates go toward the reconstruction of Tatev Monastery.
Tatev Monastery
A medieval monastery built between the 9th and 13th centuries, the temple complex is located in a remote mountainous area. The mighty fortress walls rise from the edge of a dizzying cliff, and the power of the monumental structures is awe-inspiring.
Noravank Monastery
The Noravank monastery complex was built in the 13th-14th centuries. Two churches, a chapel, and steles blend harmoniously into the landscape—the narrow gorge of the Amaghu River and sheer red cliffs, as if we were on another planet.
Khor Virap Monastery
Khor Virap Monastery is located at the foot of sacred Mount Ararat. Its name translates as "deep dungeon": according to legend, Gregory the Illuminator was held in the local dungeons before King Tiridates III converted to Christianity.

Yerevan - Ararat
We'll begin our exploration of Armenia with a stroll through the capital. We'll climb the famous Cascade, a series of open terraces, and enjoy the views of the city. We'll stroll along Republic Square and Northern Avenue, past luxury buildings and shopping arcades. We'll see the magnificent Academic Theater and visit monuments to famous Armenian cultural figures—Aram Khachaturian, Alexander Spendiaryan, and Hovhannes Tumanyan. Your guide will share their stories and achievements.
Afterwards, we'll visit the Ararat factory, where we'll learn about the cognac production process and tour the aging workshop in the museum. And, of course, this visit can't be complete without a tasting! You'll sample three types of cognac: Akhtamar (10-year-old), Vaspurakan (15-year-old), and Nairi (20-year-old).

Legend has it that in ancient times, only the gods and stars drank from Sevan. We'll experience this pearl of the Caucasus with a half-hour boat ride and a visit to the Sevanavank Monastery, built in 874 on a peninsula jutting into the lake (it was formerly an island).
Today we'll visit another lake—the opposite of Sevank, but no less beautiful. Lake Parz is hidden in the forest, surrounded by low, tree-covered slopes. This small lake is beautiful at any time of year and in any weather. A walk along the shore will allow you to enjoy the views and feel at one with nature.

Sevan - Dilijan - Yenokovan
A sightseeing tour during which we'll see some of Armenia's most important landmarks from above: the famous mountain lake Senavan, the picturesque town of Dilijan surrounded by a nature reserve, and the village of Yenokovan, which looks like you've stepped into a fairy tale: with its graceful hillside houses, panoramic mountain views, and a deep canyon encircling the village on the southern side.
We'll land in Yenokovan and spend about two hours there: strolling along the cobbled streets, learning about the village's history, and dining at the Apaga Resort, the best local hotel, offering delicious home-cooked cuisine and warm service. Total flight time (excluding stopovers) is approximately 100 minutes.

Azat Reservoir - Areni
On this excursion, we'll see the Azat Reservoir, known as the "Blue Pearl of Armenia." It's located at an altitude of 1,050 meters above sea level. We'll then head to Areni, a unique village with a rich and fascinating history. It was once the capital of the ancient Kingdom of Syunik. It also has its own winery and hosts an annual young wine festival.
The next landmarks we'll see from a helicopter are the majestic Noravank monastery complex, surrounded by uniquely colored cliffs, and the monumental Khor Virap Monastery, where King Tiridates converted to Christianity in 301. Following this momentous event, Armenia became the first country in the world to declare Christianity a state religion. The total flight time is approximately 100 minutes, and we can also make a stop in Areni or Khor Virap, depending on your preference.

When talking about Tatev, it's impossible not to mention the famous cable car leading to it. At nearly 6 km long, it's listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the longest cable car in the world. During the 12-minute, rapid climb, you'll enjoy the breathtaking views below: emerald mountain slopes and the foaming waters of the Vorotan River. We'll also visit the village of Khndzoresk, an impressive "cave city," an ancient settlement on the slopes of the gorge.

Wine of Armenia
Armenia is famous not only for its cognac but also for its fine wines, prized worldwide. The local climate and soil are ideal for growing grapes, and although the country's vineyards have been destroyed numerous times over the course of its long history, the winemaking tradition has risen again and again, like a phoenix from the ashes. Some ancient techniques are still used here, such as clay jugs called karases.
One of the centers of winemaking is the village of Areni, where wine festivals are held. The red grape variety of the same name is grown here, used to produce the local Pinot Noir. This unique variety has no analogues anywhere in the world and is not related to other varieties grown in neighboring regions, such as the Black Sea region. A visit to Areni, in addition to wine and delicacy tastings, is sure to be remembered for the tranquil views of the vines against the backdrop of tranquil plains and picturesque mountains.

Areni Monasteries
We will visit the Noravank monastery complex, whose construction began seven centuries ago. The monastery is surrounded by striking red cliffs, which add to the grandeur of the place. Austere decoration, a unique two-story church, exquisite bas-reliefs, the echoing sound of footsteps beneath the church vaults, and ancient legends—this is what awaits you at Noravank. It's important to note that there is no active tourist infrastructure around the monastery, which would only spoil the spiritual atmosphere. Once here, you'll be alone with the centuries-old spiritual history of Armenia.
Afterwards, we'll visit another monastery with a rich history—Khor Virap, meaning "deep prison." Saint Gregory the Illuminator, who eventually converted King Tiridates to Christianity, was imprisoned in the dungeons of this majestic structure for 14 years. The monastery grounds offer a breathtaking view of Mount Ararat, the main mountain for all Christians.

Garni
Garni is a museum-reserve comparable to many historical complexes in Greece and Italy. The central structure of the complex is the Temple of the Sun, built during the pagan era in Armenia. Here you will see exquisite bas-reliefs, masterfully crafted stone ornaments, columns, and capitals. In addition to the temple, there is also an ancient fortress, which served as a defensive structure and also served as the summer residence of Armenian kings.
That same day, we'll visit Geghard Monastery, whose buildings are partially carved into the rock, offering a stunning testimony to the unity of human genius and nature. We'll see the Symphony of Stones, a hard-to-reach natural wonder, featuring basalt columns reminiscent of organ pipes. Then we'll head to Charents Arch. Erected in 1957, this architectural monument offers a stunning view of Mount Ararat. A perfect spot for inspiring photos and tranquil contemplation!
