From taiga to desert

Where: Kola Peninsula and Karelia.
The peak of the polar night and high solar activity make January one of the most spectacular months for observing the Aurora Borealis, which flares over Arctic fjords and snow-covered taiga. Observing this natural wonder can be done in complete comfort from a luxury glass igloo.
Desert starry nights
Where: Wahiba Desert, Oman.
The dry season and minimal humidity ensure perfect air clarity, and January nights are comfortable for astronomical observations away from urban light pollution. A night in a Bedouin camp can be combined with a trip through the canyons and fjords of Musandam.

Almond blossom
Where: Agrigento, Sicily, Italy.
The Valley of the Temples is awash in pink and white blossoms against a backdrop of ancient colonnades—even as much of Europe lingers in the twilight of winter. The blossoming period coincides with the traditional almond festival, transforming the ancient landscape into a living stage.
That same Baikal ice
Where: Lake Baikal.
February is the time of perfectly clear Baikal ice, when cracks and bubbles, seemingly frozen in time, are visible in the depths. Frost and sun create a unique picturesque canvas: from azure hummocks to ice grottoes. A private tour allows you to avoid crowds, and the February ice is suitable for SUVs and Khovus, which can take you to the most secluded bays.
Mimosa blossoms

Stargazing in the Atacama

One of the driest regions on the planet provides exceptional atmospheric transparency. March nights are particularly favorable for observing—this is where the largest astronomical observatories in the Southern Hemisphere are located, where you can observe the Southern Cross and nebulae accompanied by professional astronomers.

Wisteria blooming
Where: Ashikaga Park or Kawachi Fuji Gardens, Japan.
You've definitely seen it in countless photos on social media: tunnels of drooping purple and lilac wisteria flowers have become one of Japan's signature landmarks. The wisteria blooms peak in late April, and the evening illumination transforms the gardens into an almost surreal landscape.
Maralnik blossoming
Where: Altai Republic.
The mountain slopes are covered in pink and purple splashes of ledebour rhododendron at the end of April and continue to delight travelers during the May holidays. Against the backdrop of snowy peaks and the Katun River, just freed from the ice, the vibrant patches of maral rhododendron look especially vibrant.
Fields of wild tulips
Where: Southern Kazakhstan.
The steppes bloom with wild Greig and Kaufman tulips—the ancestors of many garden varieties. The blooms are brief but spectacular: entire valleys are painted in shades of scarlet and yellow. The best views await you in the Turkestan region and the Aksu-Zhabagly Nature Reserve.

Firefly season

To the wild
Sardine Run
Where: South African coast.
Billions of sardines move along the shore, attracting sharks, dolphins, and whales. This is a rare chance to observe this large-scale marine interaction up close—a spectacle comparable in scale to a land safari. Can be combined with exclusive diving or snorkeling.
Bear watching
Where: Kamchatka Krai.
During the peak salmon spawning season, brown bears migrate to Kamchatka's rivers, and their concentrations reach their peak. This creates a rare opportunity to observe them in their natural habitat—from a safe distance, of course, and accompanied by professional guides.
Putorana Plateau - Expedition Peak
Where: Krasnoyarsk Krai.
July brings the most stable weather and optimal conditions for helicopter flights to the canyons and lakes of the Putorana Plateau. The northern tundra unfolds during a short but intense season, offering long daylight hours and relatively predictable weather. The good news is that you won't have to endure any discomfort; the plateau offers the most comfortable accommodations.

Events on a grand scale
Total solar eclipse
Where: Spain or Iceland.
On August 12, 2026, the Moon will completely cover the Sun for almost two minutes, turning day into night. This is a rare astronomical moment that can be observed from the sea or along the edge of volcanic landscapes. You could, for example, charter a superyacht off the coast of Ibiza or Mallorca to watch the eclipse from the sea with a glass of champagne.
Whales and killer whales
Where: Kuril Islands.
August is one of the most reliable months for marine expeditions around the Kuril Islands and encounters with marine giants: killer whales, humpback whales, and gray whales. The misty islands and cold currents create a dramatic backdrop, and a visit to the region can be complemented with culinary adventures.
Perseids
Where: Atacama Desert, Chile.
The meteor shower peaks between August 11th and 13th. With near-zero humidity, the meteors are especially bright—so we recommend heading to Chile again!

Gold and turquoise
Golden autumn
Where: Tuscany, Italy
. Tuscany again! In May, we gazed upon poppy fields, and in September, the vineyards of Val d'Orcia are painted amber and crimson during the Vendemmia—harvest time. A unique experience, available only to VIP clients or friends of the vineyard owners, is a symbolic participation in the grape harvest.
Turquoise Katun
Where: Altai Republic.
By late summer, the water of Altai's main river takes on a rich turquoise hue thanks to its glacial origins. The contrast with the coniferous forests and yellow larches on the slopes makes the landscape especially striking, making September the ideal time to visit Altai!

Polar bear migration
Where: Churchill, Canada.
Hundreds of bears gather on the shores of Hudson Bay waiting for the ice to form. October marks the peak month for the animals before heading out to sea. Thrill-seekers and those seeking the closest possible connection to nature can stay in a hotel on giant wheels right among the bears and have breakfast while observing the predators up close.
Golden autumn
Where: Republic of Dagestan.
Canyons and mountain terraces are bathed in warm ochre and copper hues. The light softens, highlighting the terrain, and clear weather and cool temperatures promise ideal conditions for exploring Dagestan!
Fuji - clear season
Where: Fuji, Japan.
Autumn is considered one of the most reliable periods for the mountain's visibility. Fuji's distinct silhouette is especially striking against a clear sky. From greyness to warmth
Jacaranda blossoms

Cities are painted purple: November is the height of spring in the Southern Hemisphere. Petals cover the streets like a thick carpet. The most successful flower photoshoots coincide conveniently with the Melbourne Cup.
Bryde's whales
Where: Thailand.
Autumn is one of the best times to spot whales in the Gulf of Thailand, where they come to feed. Calm seas increase the chance of encountering this rare marine species. The country is entering its peak season, so whale watching can easily fit into a luxury beach vacation.

Warm lagoons and Aurora
Gray whales
Where: Baja Peninsula, Mexico.
In December, whales begin entering Mexico's warm lagoons to breed. They often come close to boats, making it an unforgettable experience that even the most seasoned travelers will remember!
Northern lights
