And all this in your own comfortable environment.

Country of Mountains

Of course, Dagestan is a land of mountains (that's how the word translates from Turkic). But here you'll see more than just snow-capped peaks and mysterious high plateaus. Dagestan boasts a sea with stunning beaches, raging rivers and waterfalls, desert landscapes, and even a tropical forest. Dagestan is also home to an ancient culture and a rich history.

Maximum comfort

A common myth that prevents many from traveling to Dagestan is the lack of comfortable infrastructure. This is not true at all: Dagestan boasts VIP hotels and luxurious restaurants, where you'll experience genuine Caucasian hospitality and a wealth of pleasant experiences. We'll travel between locations in prepared SUVs, helicopters, and minibuses.

Unique program

We've designed a program that's thoughtfully planned down to the last detail and are ready to customize it to suit your preferences and wishes. We'll add new locations, create a personalized menu, and create unique itineraries—and we'll be with you 24/7 during your trip, ensuring you have a worry-free experience.

A sea of impressions

Sulak Canyon by boat

The second-deepest canyon in the world—deeper than the famous Grand Canyon—in Dagestan you'll see a more breathtaking and expansive natural wonder than one of the world's top attractions.
The Sulak Canyon reaches a depth of 1,920 meters. At the bottom of this impressive gorge flows the piercing turquoise Sulak River. A gentle breeze, the scent of steppe grasses, and the dizzying heights—this experience will be a treasured one for even the most seasoned travelers. It's not just the stunning views—the canyon has a rich history. Many Russian writers, including Mikhail Lermontov, have visited here, and Alexandre Dumas described this incredible spectacle in his book "Journey to the Caucasus."

You can enjoy the view of the canyon from the observation deck. The Chirkey Reservoir, located along the route to this attraction, is ideal for a boat ride.

Meals: Lunch at Dagestan's largest trout farm.
Transportation: a prepared jeep and a boat on the reservoir.

Gamsutl and Gunib

Dagestan isn't just about natural beauty and the vibrant, dynamic city of Makhachkala. Much of the region's charm lies in its picturesque villages and auls. We'll visit the village of Gunib on the plateau of the same name. Here, the sun shines 300 days a year, a tropical microclimate reigns, and unique relict birch trees with pink bark grow. Furthermore, this village played an important role during the conquest of the Caucasus in the 19th century—a fact your guide will explain.
Also on this day, we'll visit the Avar ghost village of Gamstul. The sight of its dilapidated, distinctive buildings is literally jaw-dropping. The traces of the village's recently vibrant life, surrounded by silent mountain slopes, are an incredibly powerful experience.
We'll also stop in the stunningly beautiful village of Chokh, nestled in a mountain valley. Chokh is a turbulent mountain river, lush gardens, houses scattered along the slopes, and a rich history: scientists believe the first settlements in the Chokh area date back to 6,000 years BC.

Meals: traditional mountain lunch.
Transportation: prepared Land Cruiser SUV.

The glamping site is located in the Gunibsky District, surrounded by pristine nature. The 2-hectare property features spacious tents with cozy interiors, equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay, including heaters, electric blankets, and private bathrooms. Guests can enjoy panoramic mountain views, stroll through the orchard, or relax in the sauna with a Siberian vat. Villa Memory is the ideal place for those who value harmony with nature without sacrificing premium amenities

Kahib and Goor

The villages of Goor and Kakhib have earned many poetic names: "Land of Towers," "Dagestani Atlantis," "ghosts." They are shrouded in myth and mystery, but will appeal not only to lovers of mysticism: lovers of history, architecture, culture, and nature will also be impressed by a visit here.
Kakhib is one of the most ancient settlements in Dagestan. Today, it is divided into New Kakhib, home to about 2,000 people, and Old Kakhib—picturesque ruins on the slopes above the Kakhibtlyar River. Here, old houses and famous watchtowers seem to grow out of the rocks, appearing part of the landscape. They were built in the 8th-10th centuries.
Goor is another unusual village with defensive towers. Like three guardians, they rise above the steep cliffs. Anyone who visits Goor cannot help but sense the special energy of this place.

Meals: lunch of national dishes
Transport: prepared Land Cruiser SUV.

Khunzakh and Tobot Falls

The village of Khunzakh is the ancient capital of the Avar Khanate, which existed in Dagestan from the 12th to the 19th centuries. Archaeological excavations indicate that Khunzakh itself is over two and a half thousand years old. Situated on a picturesque plateau at an altitude of 2,000 meters above sea level, this village can be compared to a phoenix, living and reborn for centuries. Some researchers believe the name "Khunzakh" comes from the Avar phrase "Khun bakh"—meaning "died but was born again."
Not far from the village is one of the region's main natural attractions, the Tobot Waterfall. Here, streams cascade down from a height of 100 meters, scattering rainbow-colored spray and drowning out the sounds of people. This place is sometimes called the "heart of Dagestan"—turbulent, rebellious, and incredibly beautiful. The waterfall has two observation decks.

Derbent

Derbent is the oldest and southernmost city in our country. Officially, it's just over two thousand years old, but if you consider the time when the first settlements appeared on this land, it's nearly five thousand years old.
It's a legendary city, reminiscent of an artfully crafted jewel box. It's impossible to explore it in a day, or even a week, as each century of Derbent's history has left its own monuments, legends, and stories. We'll visit the most iconic and fascinating local landmarks: the Naryn-Kala citadel, built to facilitate the passage of trade caravans along the Silk Road, the atmospheric mahals (districts) of the Old Town, the central square, the embankment, and Dagestan's most expensive street. We'll immerse ourselves in the history and unique charm of Derbent, experiencing the atmosphere of a vibrant and bustling eastern city with a priceless, centuries-old heritage.
