Why go?
Enjoy the contrast between the modern metropolis and the carefully preserved historical heritage. See mountains, lakes, and dunes in a single trip.

Rich story
Kazakhstan's culture and architecture are a colorful mosaic, every detail worthy of careful study. Skyscrapers soar into the sky in major cities, while in remote areas, people live in the same way as their distant ancestors. Kazakhstan is actively developing without abandoning its rich cultural heritage.

Natural contrasts
Snow-capped mountain peaks, high plateaus with subalpine meadows, crystal-clear lakes hidden in dense forests, and singing dunes… Thanks to such natural diversity, Kazakhstan offers a wide range of recreation options, from ski resorts and mountaineering to beach holidays and fishing.

Kazakhstan: Mountains, Steppes, and Singing Dune
A private tour to Kazakhstan is a wonderful opportunity to experience a country from a new perspective, one not often expected to be exotic. In reality, Kazakhstan encompasses the caravan routes of the Great Silk Road, the impressive scale of the Baikonur Cosmodrome, and the monumental mausoleums of Turkestan, the ancient capital of the Kazakh Khanate. Ancient nomadic civilizations, the legacy of the Soviet era, and the luxury of two capitals intertwine to form a whimsical yet harmonious fabric. Today, Kazakhstan is among the top 30 most developed countries in the world.
Culture and history aren't the only reasons Kazakhstan is a worthy tourist destination. The country's vast territory (from the Caspian Sea to the Altai Mountains) is rich in natural beauty. Here, you'll find steppes, mountains, rolling dunes, and fascinating eco-tourism trails.
Season in Kazakhstan: year-round, except for the hot summer months (July-August). Ski season runs from mid-December to the end of March.
Transport: Toyota and Mercedes V-class minibuses, Lexus SUVs, Mi-171E and Eurocopter EC145 helicopters.
You are just a few steps away from your dream trip!

Helicopter tour of Kolsai Lakes and Charyn Canyon
From a helicopter, you'll be able to see all the main natural attractions of the area: the Turgen Gorge with its rivers and waterfalls, the vast Assy Plateau with its observatory, and the rugged Karaarsha Pass, beyond which we'll find ourselves above the Kolsai Lakes—one of the most memorable natural sites in Kazakhstan. These three stunningly beautiful lakes, located in the gorge at an altitude of over 1,800 meters, are known as the blue necklace of the Tien Shan. A stop for lunch at a restaurant is included. In winter, you can walk on the frozen lakes, and in summer, you can take a stroll along the emerald waters.
Afterwards, we'll head to the Charyn Canyon, which is as beautiful as its "big brother," the Grand Canyon in the United States. Millions of years ago, this area was home to a lake, whose waterway, after partially drying up, merged with the Ili River. Over hundreds of thousands of years, the turbulent flow of the mountain river carved a path through the cliffs, descending lower and lower. The limestone cliffs were shaped by the winds, and as a result, nature created this unforgettable masterpiece—the Charyn Canyon. We'll enjoy its views from the most convenient vantage point—a bird's eye view.
Meals: Picnic in the mountains.
Transportation: Mi-171E and Eurocopter 130 helicopters.

Helicopter Ride – Khan Tengri
Our destination is the country's highest peak, Khan-Tengri Peak (meaning "Lord of the Sky"), at 7,010 meters. But along the way, we'll also see many sights: the sources of the Karkara and Sary Zhaz mountain rivers, majestic glaciers (Semenova, Mushketova, Northern and Southern Inylchek), the high-altitude glacial lake Merzbacher, and numerous famous peaks of the Sary Zhas and Tengri Tagh mountain ranges, ranging in elevation from 5,450 to 6,500 meters.
We'll then land on the Northern Inylchek Glacier, located at an altitude of 4,000 meters. From here, a breathtaking view of the three-kilometer-high North Face of Khan Tengri opens up. After enjoying the panorama and capturing unforgettable photos, we'll head out on a glacier hike and visit the Northern Inylchek Base Camp, the starting point for the mountaineering routes. You'll have the opportunity to meet climbers from all over the world, preparing to conquer Khan Tengri or just returning from its snow-capped peak. Armed with binoculars, you can watch the expeditions ascend against the majestic black and yellow backdrop of Khan Tengri's wall.
Meals: Picnic in the mountains.
Transportation: Mi-171E and Eurocopter 130 helicopters.

Kolsai Lakes
The "Blue Pearl of the Tien Shan"—three stunning lakes with rich hues, cascading in a cascade with a drop of approximately 700 meters. Here, far from civilization, you can enjoy the silence and tranquil views. The smooth waters, surrounded by cliffs, spruce forests, and alpine meadows, rich in flora and fauna—all this is the legendary Kolsai Lakes.
The cold, clear water reflects the gently sloping slopes, slender coniferous trees, and endless sky. Rainbow trout can be caught in the lakes, so we can organize fishing activities for those who enjoy them. Lake One is also famous for the abundance of mushrooms in the area. The local mountains are home to mountain goats and red deer, as well as dangerous predators such as wolves and bears. However, there's no need to fear an encounter—the predators keep their distance from people, and local rangers patrol the area around the lake. The Kolsai Lakes can be visited at any time of year: enjoy the honey-scented flowers in summer or spring, capture the rich colors of autumn, or stroll across the ice in winter.
Meals: Lunch at a mountain restaurant.
Transportation: Lexus SUVs and Land Cruisers.

Kolsay Lake Nomads
The Kolsai Nomads guest complex is located on the first Kolsai lake—it's the only hotel with a view. From your room, you'll admire the mirror-like surface of the water and the stunning natural surroundings. Accommodation options include two- and four-bed Eco-Houses and Glamping Lodges. Guests praise not only the hotel's ideal location but also its excellent cuisine. Depending on your preference, we can simply visit the local restaurant or stay for a few days and use the hotel as a jumping-off point for the second and third Kolsai lakes.
Charyn Canyon and Lake Kaindy
During this excursion, we'll see two natural wonders: a 12-million-year-old mountain canyon and a unique lake, whose azure waters reveal the trunks of a spruce forest that was flooded over a century ago. Lake Kaindy is located at an altitude of 1,667 meters. In 1911, an earthquake struck this area, causing a massive landslide that blocked the river's flow. The raging torrent flooded the coniferous grove, creating a beautiful lake. The trees, although devoid of greenery, are perfectly preserved, creating a whimsical and unique landscape.
After visiting the lake, we'll head to the Charyn Canyon. This picturesque gorge features fantastically shaped reddish cliffs, 150-300 meters high. You'll see two of the most interesting places in the Charyn Canyon. First, there's a unique relict grove of Sogdian ash—one of the few tree species that managed to survive the Ice Age. Then, we'll head to the Valley of Castles, the canyon's most spectacular section. Here, the cliffs take on the most unexpected shapes: palaces and towers, figures and faces..
Meals: Lunch outdoors, cooked in a cauldron.
Transportation: Lexus and Land Cruiser SUVs.

Ethnic Day
The Gunny Ethno Center is the first ethnographic village in Kazakhstan, located 40 km from Almaty. Here, you can not only learn a lot about the history of the country and the Kazakh people but also literally experience their traditions and culture. You'll sample the exotic nomadic drink—mare's milk, or saumal—enter a real yurt and learn about their historical way of life, and witness rituals and unusual sports.
Over the course of the day, you'll experience a variety of unusual adventures:
- You'll be greeted with the traditional greeting ceremony "Shashu" and national dances.
- You'll learn how to make special Kazakh donuts, called baursaks. After the master class, there will be tea and culinary delights.
- You'll learn about the daily life of nomads and the rituals associated with important events. For example, you'll be shown the matchmaking ceremony, "Syrga salu."
- Of course, there's no way to avoid a demonstration of the unity of horse and rider, as nomads have always been excellent horsemen! You'll see equestrian competitions, such as "Atpen audaryspak" and the "Dzhigitovka" show. Those who wish can even try their hand at a short horseback ride.
- Archery is another essential skill for a nomad. Try your hand at this sport at a master class with experienced instructors!
On this day we will have dinner at the Ak Aul restaurant (the largest yurt in the world!).

Gastronomic Kazakhstan
Hearty Kazakh cuisine is renowned for its meat dishes, as well as aromatic pastries and unique dairy products. During our trip, we'll definitely try the most important Kazakh dishes, prepared according to traditional recipes!
The famous beshbarmak is made with beef or lamb, vegetables, and aromatic spices. Manti (dumplings) are stuffed with a variety of fillings, such as minced lamb. The local pilaf, palau, despite its familiar recipe, is distinct from variations in other Asian countries: as with other dishes, Kazakhs spare no meat, adding generous amounts of tender lamb. Special doughnuts, baursaks, simply melt in your mouth! Kazakhstan also offers a variety of horse meat delicacies, a traditional nomadic meat, such as the spicy kazy sausage. All these sumptuous dishes can be washed down with traditional drinks: kumys, shubat (camel milk), and kozhe (kefir with cereals).

The Ritz-Carlton Almaty 5*
A legendary hotel in the modern heart of the city, The Ritz-Carlton blends seamlessly into Almaty's contrasting atmosphere, embodying both the bustling business districts and the ancient culture of this remarkable city. Spacious rooms, luxurious yet homely, offer breathtaking panoramic views. The hotel boasts five restaurants and bars offering fine cuisine, light snacks, and exquisite cocktails.
Singing Dune and White Mountains
The dune in the Altyn-Emel Nature Reserve is famous for its unusual sounds—ranging from a ringing organ to the hum of airplane turbines. This relatively rare natural phenomenon is caused by the movement of sand: as the grains touch each other, they create an unusual "chorus." Another unique feature is that the dune is located not in a desert, but between mountain ranges. While this phenomenon is easily explained scientifically, the dune is associated with many superstitions and legends—you'll learn about them during your trip.
That same day, we'll see the White Mountains of Aktau. The intricate patterns and fantastical lines, picturesque views, and unique landscape attract hikers, cyclists, and those seeking stunning photography and drone footage. Despite their name, these chalk mountains aren't just white—a variety of shades, including deep red, create a truly captivating scene. If you wish, you can stay overnight at the White Mountains to enjoy their views at sunrise and sunset.
Meals: Traditional Kazakh lunch.
Transportation: Mercedes V-class minibuses, Lexus or Land Cruiser SUVs.
