Why go?
Experience wild, untouched nature far from civilization: fjord lakes, waterfalls, and canyons. Visit places untouched by humans, without sacrificing comfort!

Pristine beauty
It's the plateau's inaccessibility that makes it so special: it's a lost world of pristine rivers and lakes, sparkling waterfalls, blueberry fields, and breathtaking canyons, hills, and mountains. Very few travelers visit these places, making the adventure truly special.

Northern exotica
The Putorana Plateau is located above the Arctic Circle—and you'll feel this not only through its stunning natural beauty. You'll also experience incredible cuisine featuring fish and venison specialties, a visit with the indigenous peoples of Taimyr, and the mysterious, indescribable atmosphere of these places, steeped in myths and legends.

Personal program
We'll create a unique tour tailored to your preferences. Active travelers can enjoy kayaking, SUPing, and off-the-beaten-path trekking. If you prefer a more relaxed experience, we'll transport you to all points along the route by helicopter or boat. The trip is fully organized, with our guides available 24/7.
The Putorana Plateau: The Pearl of the Russian Arctic
The Putorana Plateau is located in the northern Krasnoyarsk Krai—according to calculations, it is the geographic center of the country. This vast mountain range conceals a multitude of natural wonders: over 25,000 lakes with magnificent fjords, thousands of waterfalls ranging from 5 to 60 meters high, deep canyons, and vast plateaus covered with tundra. Since Putorana is the most inaccessible place in the country—the "pole of inaccessibility"—you'll feel like a pioneer here: there are no communications or paved roads on the plateau, and it's virtually uninhabited.
Putorana is the mysterious and alluring Russian Arctic. We'll see places untouched by humankind and visit the indigenous peoples of the North to experience their hospitality and connect with their culture and traditions. We invite you on a unique journey where you can enjoy the wilderness without sacrificing your comforts.
Season: Summer and early fall.
Transportation: Toyota and Lexus SUVs, V-class minivans, Mercedes Sprinter, or VW Crafter for larger groups. Mi-8MTV helicopters for larger groups or Eurocopter AS-350.
Water transportation: Discovery Cruiser or hovercraft in case of insufficient water level for the boat; Zodiac boats.
We know the recipe for a unique trip!

Trekking to Mount Festivalnaya
Want to admire the wonders of the Putorana Plateau from above? Nature itself has created the perfect viewing platforms here, and the best of them are located on Festivalnaya Mountain. We'll cover the first leg of our journey in open boats—a breezy ride to the Kamenny Peninsula, separating Lake Lama from Lake Kapchuk.
Next, we'll enjoy a comfortable trek to two picturesque waterfalls. Along the way, we'll stop at a viewpoint offering a stunning panorama of Festivalnaya Mountain and both lakes. If you're confident and up for a challenge, we'll continue up to take in the entire plateau from end to end. You'll learn what a "mountain gendarme" is and why the mountains here have no peaks. We'll have a picnic at the most beautiful viewpoint, after which we'll head back down. You can also stroll along the isthmus separating the lakes and see a unique diversity of mosses, including endemic species that grow only on the Putorana Plateau.
Meals: Picnic in nature with a stunning view.
Transportation: A 15 km boat ride takes about half an hour.
Trekking: Comfortable: 5 km (4 to 5 hours), 250 m elevation gain. For those who are fit: maximum 7.5 km (5 to 6 hours depending on your pace), 550 m elevation gain.

Boat ride on Lake Lama
It's going to be a busy and exciting day! First, we'll set off in open boats to the eastern shores of the lake. Along the way, we'll not only admire the natural beauty of this wild place but also learn about and see many fascinating sights—for example, the wintering site of the plateau's discoverer, Nikolai Urvantsev, the Putorana Nature Reserve's eco-center, and even a base for UFOlogists, who believe the plateau is the site of unexplained and mysterious phenomena.
We'll return to the hotel for lunch, where we'll sample exquisite and unusual northern cuisine, centered around venison and fish. You can choose your afternoon activities based on your preferences. This could include a sea kayaking trip, SUP paddleboarding, berry and mushroom picking, or simply a quiet, contemplative retreat, culminating in a steamy sauna.
Meals: Northern cuisine featuring fish and venison.
Transportation: Boat trip with stops, distance 75 km, duration 4-5 hours.

By helicopter to Irkindinsky Waterfall
The route to Irkindinsky Waterfall passes through endless swamps and inaccessible mountains, but these won't deter you from visiting one of the plateau's most beautiful spots. We'll travel to the waterfall by helicopter, and during the flight, we'll admire from above the expanses of tundra dotted with small, beautiful lakes, the narrow, elongated lakes known as "fjord lakes" due to their shape, and the mesas with their flat peaks. Your guide will explain the origins of these natural wonders, the diversity of flora and fauna, and the discovery and development of the plateau.
We'll then land at Irkindinsky Waterfall, where the Irkinda River cascades 27 meters. Depending on the water level, this waterfall always appears different, but it never dries up. From our landing site, we'll enjoy a magnificent view of Chaya-Kit Mountain. Armed with binoculars, you can observe its slopes and perhaps spot local endemics: the Putorana snow sheep and the white-tailed eagle.
Meals: picnic lunch.
Transportation: Mi-8MTV helicopters for large groups or Eurocopter AS-350.

Park Hotel "Neralah"
Wild and remote places don't necessarily mean rugged hiking conditions and a lack of comfort. This premium park hotel, located on the shores of picturesque Lake Lama, is proof of this. Accessible by boat or helicopter.
The hotel consists of 10 cozy cottages, suitable for a couple with a child or four adults. Here you'll enjoy a secluded and comfortable stay surrounded by pristine nature. Excursions to the plateau's most fascinating sights begin here. The restaurant serves northern cuisine.
First House
Lake Lama and its surroundings are, of course, primarily characterized by their remoteness and wild nature. But it also boasts a unique architectural monument, created by human hands. We'll embark on an excursion to the Kamenny Peninsula and the first House on Lama. Along the way and on site, you'll learn many interesting facts: why this unusual wooden building, reminiscent of an airplane, was erected, why is the nearby river called Vitaminka, and how did Latvian generals end up on the plateau?
The House's architect is Fyodor Usov. You can see his wooden buildings in Norilsk, and all of them perfectly capture the spirit of the 1930s and 1940s, when they were built. High ceilings, wide staircases, and sunlit verandas with graceful railings—all of them have been restored several times over the decades, but today you can admire the first House on Lake Lama in its original form.
Meals: Restaurant meals, local cuisine with fish and venison specialties.
Transportation: open boat.

Trekking of the Discoverers
We invite you to experience the thrill of discovery and trek to the summit. No pre-established trails or landscape modifications to accommodate human habitation: only pristine nature, pristine air, and breathtaking views. For those with a healthy fitness level, the elevation gain is 1,100 meters, but if you're looking for a more relaxing hike, we have a suitable option: a trek along the waterfalls, including Neralakh Waterfall (with a spillway height of 22 meters). You'll see the canyon from both above and below, from the gorge.
At the end of the journey, we'll enjoy a picnic with panoramic views of Lake Lama, reminiscent of Scandinavian fjords, and the majestic mesas for which the Putorana Plateau is famous. You'll take dozens of stunning photos that will remind you of the challenging journey and the breathtaking views it was made for.
Trekking distance: comfortable mode – 6 km (5-6 hours), altitude gain 250 m. Sport option – 11 km (8-10 hours), altitude gain 1100 m.

Tour of Norilsk
We'll take a sightseeing tour of the town closest to the plateau (the walk lasts 2 hours). This is no ordinary industrial town: its location above the Arctic Circle makes it of great interest. How do people live surrounded by the harsh natural environment of the Russian Arctic? How was it possible to build high-rise buildings on permafrost? Why are large courtyards paved over with asphalt, and why are the arches fitted with railings?
But it's not just modern life that makes Norilsk interesting. Its history is intertwined with the lives of many famous people, including the artists Innokenty Smoktunovsky and Georgy Zhzhenov, and the historian Lev Gumilyov. Norilsk also offers exhibitions, memorials, monuments, and art galleries. After the tour, you can enjoy free time at your own pace or dine at one of the local restaurants.

Dudinka is the capital of Taimyr, founded in 1667. Furthermore, this small town has close ties to the indigenous peoples of Taimyr—the Dolgans, Nenets, and others.
After visiting the main square, the port, and the local history museum, we'll visit representatives of the indigenous peoples to learn firsthand what it's like to wander the tundra their entire lives, preserving their traditions and beliefs.
