Today, we suggest changing your pace and heading out on horseback: after breakfast, enjoy a horseback ride through the Chon-Kemin Valley. This region is considered one of the most picturesque in the country; the valley stretches for over 100 kilometers between the Tien Shan mountain ranges, and its landscapes vary from wide green meadows to pine forests and glacier-covered mountain slopes. The ride offers breathtaking views of the Chon-Kemin River, offering the opportunity to take countless beautiful photos. This leisurely horseback ride is suitable for both beginners and experienced riders.

After lunch, we continue onward toward the southern shore of Issyk-Kul, to the Kok-Moinok canyons in the Boom Gorge. Here, the landscape changes: the gentle valley lines give way to narrow passages and rock formations of reddish-yellow sandstone, shaped by millennia of erosion. The location is not well-known, but it is very impressive! Winding trails, several kilometers long, create the feeling of a natural labyrinth, making it ideal for hiking and photo stops. By evening, full of impressions, we will arrive at the yurt camp on the shore of Issyk-Kul. A delicious dinner, peace and quiet, and complete solitude await you—the perfect opportunity to end an active day in a tranquil atmosphere.

If you want to experience Kyrgyzstan not only through its stunning landscapes but also through its vibrant culture, we offer a fascinating route along the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul. Our route will take you through small villages where traditions aren't recreated specifically for tourists, but rather continue to exist as part of everyday life. In the village of Kyzyl-Tuu, known as a center of yurt-making, almost every family is involved in making a traditional nomadic dwelling. Here you can witness the entire yurt-making process—from the wooden frame to the decorative elements—and watch how a yurt is assembled in just a few hours. This is not just a craft, but a reflection of a way of life in which every detail is carefully considered—from the structure's mobility to its stability in harsh conditions.

We'll also visit the village of Bokonbaevo, one of the country's key sites for preserving felt-making traditions. Here, you'll observe the process of creating large felt canvases used to cover yurts and weave carpets, and see how wool is transformed into the dense, textured materials that have served nomads for centuries. If desired, we can complement this day with a meeting with a berkutchi—a hunter with a bird of prey. A hunting demonstration allows you to witness the ancient practice of salbuurun: the interaction between man and bird of prey, which requires precision, patience, and a deep understanding of nature rather than strength. A thorough immersion into the region's culture through crafts, everyday life, and traditions will allow you to see Kyrgyzstan from a new perspective.

Karakol is a small town with a fascinating history. Founded as a military garrison in the second half of the 19th century, it retains the characteristics of an old provincial town while remaining a popular resort destination. During a sightseeing tour, you'll see the Holy Trinity Cathedral, a wooden church built in 1869, and the colorful Dungan Mosque, built without a single nail. Designed in the early 20th century by the Chinese, the mosque's architecture is noticeably different from classical Islamic structures—it resembles a pagoda and reflects the cultural traditions of the Dungan community living in the region.

Next, we head to the northern shore of Issyk-Kul, to one of the mountain gorges of the Kungey Ala-Too Range. Semyonovskoye Gorge is known for its vast length and turbulent Ak-Suu River with its clear glacial waters, as well as a picturesque mountain lake associated with local legends. Grigorievskoye Gorge, meanwhile, boasts a diverse landscape: from coniferous forests to alpine meadows and a cascade of high-mountain lakes. Both options offer the opportunity to spend time in nature, embark on an easy trek, and experience how the landscape changes as you ascend. If desired, the trip can be extended and a separate day can be dedicated to exploring both gorges at a leisurely pace. Lunch is included along the way, and in the evening, you'll return to the hotel for a relaxing dinner.

If you'd like to break up your active tour with some more relaxing days, we can include a longer stop at Issyk-Kul. This high-altitude lake, surrounded by the Tien Shan mountain ranges, creates a unique atmosphere and microclimate: there's no sweltering heat, the air remains fresh even in summer, and the water is clear and slightly cool. The northern coast is considered the most developed: it's home to the main hotels, boarding houses, and beach areas, while the town of Cholpon-Ata is the hub of tourist activity. Sandy beaches, a gentle slope into the water, and views of picturesque mountain ranges await you. Cholpon-Ata also offers all the necessary amenities for travelers: cozy restaurants serving local cuisine, spas, well-maintained parks, and small markets selling local produce.

In addition to a classic beach holiday, the resort offers water activities, such as catamaran rides, as well as day trips to the mountain valleys and horseback riding trails in the surrounding area. We'll create a personalized program based on your preferences: you can spend the morning by the lake, then take a short trip to the gorge or neighboring resort villages, and return to the water in the evening.
